About Me

I hope to help you explore the changes you want to make in your life, whether these are changes in how you engage with the world outside, or in how you engage with your self. I enjoy working with people on all kinds of concerns, including (but certainly not limited to) shame, addictions, life-transitions, anxiety, and grief. There is no 'right way' to be as a person, and I bring a non-judgemental lens and full respect for the complex person you already are. This is not only to affirm you, but also as a grounding point for challenging you to consider new perspectives.

I draw from a mix of therapeutic theories and aim to be flexible and responsive in our work, often including elements of CBT, mindfulness, EFT, and narrative approaches. I am also trained in EMDR and find it can be very helpful for clients who have had troubling past experiences.

I believe that everyone deserves to pursue a satisfying life. I believe that therapy should be accessible and inclusive, and should meet you where you are at. I believe that social justice, harm-reduction, and trauma-informed approaches are absolutely foundational to good mental healthcare.

I hold dual registrations as a Registered Psychotherapist and a Registered Nurse, with a certification in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. I completed my MEd in Counselling and Psychotherapy at OISE/University of Toronto in 2024. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (hons) from University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McGill University.

I have worked in mental healthcare in various capacities since 2006 — as a peer crisis counsellor, as a personal support worker, and as a nurse, including years in emergency crisis psychiatry. I began private practice as a therapist in 2023.
